LEXIE HARVEY's

STUDIO

Lexie Harvey has been a studio photographer in California for over 20 years. Earned a B.F.A. in Photography from Art Center College of Design.

Started professionally as a product catalog photographer upon graduation. One year later she opened her commercial studio in the city of Orange. Working for local companies like Van's Shoes, Fredrick Ramond Lighting, Mag Instruments, etc.

In 1999 she embraced digital photography with

a digital back on a large format view camera.

The quality of the Nikon Digital Camera and Lenses in 2005 rivaled the quality of 4x5 film.

So converting over to the Nikon DSLR was an exciting choice and then in 2010 she evolved to an all on site digital photo studio.

With the convenience of a laptop and a DSLR, digital photography with professional strobe lighting made mobility a reality. Clients appreciated the savings in time and shipping costs which can often be over new 200 products to update their catalogs.

ON SITE PRODUCTIVITY

Let's be real here, photo shoots can be fun but the prep is a nuisance. Shot list, hunt down scattered product, rush shipping of missing product, making the drive to a distant studio, and the worst of all worlds...missing that late shipped product that arrived after you left for the photo studio.

Having an on site photographer can make your life a little easier. Streamlining the prep by skipping the packing, shipping, traffic and allow you to be there at your office if your art team needs you.

NO COMPR0MISE

ON QUALITY

Our mobile Nikon digital studio has everything a permanent studio has except the bulky computer server and giant studio stand designed to hold the dated 30 lb. large format view cameras.

Our On Site Studio has everything needed to create top notch catalogs and advertisements. All we need is your space to set up! Usually for table top product photography a conference room is sufficient. For double wide or floor sets an open area in a warehouse will work fine. We bring everything we need down to the last extention cord.
